Our story begins with two kids on different small farms in suburban Massachusetts. In childhoods spent in nature and among animals and growing things. In a teenage fascination with tropical pomology and the incredible biodiversity of tropical climates. In zone pushing and tropicalesque gardening. In cartloads of apples and the bounties of summer & autumn. And dirt. Lots of dirt.
